The Usui System of Natural Healing

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice established by Mikao Usui in 1922. Reiki works through the channeling of universal life force energy through the hands of a practitioner toward the recipient. This energy supports the body’s natural capacity for healing while encouraging relaxation, balance, stress relief. The techniques helps release energetic blockages while restoring harmony within body, mind & spirit. Over time, Reiki spread across the world with various teaching lineages emerging while maintaining its original purpose of spiritual development together with energetic healing.

Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki represents one of the traditional forms of Reiki. The system was established by Phyllis Lei Furumoto, a Reiki master within the lineage of Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata, preserving the teachings passed through this lineage.

Level 1

Shoden - First Teachings

Focuses on self-healing, understanding the basics of energy and opening the body’s energy channels. Students receive four attunements to connect with the Reiki energy.

Level 2

Okuden - Inner Teachings

Deepens the practitioner's connection to the energy, introducing sacred symbols that allow for emotional, mental, and distant healing.

Level 3

Shinpiden - Teachings of the Mysteries

This stage involves learning the Master symbol and, if pursuing teaching, learning how to perform attunements for others.
